Mall Adventures.....

The kids and I have been frequenting the play area at the mall this past week. One, because it keeps them busy while I drink my Tall Non-fat Tai Chi Latte and two, because my house stays a heck of a lot cleaner. The two of these reasons combined make me one happy momma! Madison loves running and climbing on the play area "attractions". Cayden spends his time looking for unclaimed gumballs.

I heart Faces....Black and White

I'm entering another picture of Cayden this week at Iheartfaces.com. Madison doesn't seem too thrilled these days to get her picture taken. Unless of course, she is doing something daring like jumping off climbers (see previous post).

Did I Say Spring??

Did I say that spring was coming in one of my previous posts??? Cause I lied. Its not coming. At least no time soon. Look at the pictures of my kids and dog playing outside on Saturday. See the new fallen snow on the ground? And the snow falling from the sky too? It didn't stop either. All. Day. Long. The good news is that it didn't snow today. The bad new is that it is -75 degrees outside. Ok, I'm exaggerating. A little.

Coffee Anyone??

Does anyone want to come over today for some coffee? or maybe an alcoholic beverage? Seriously. My house is really clean. I mean REALLY clean. Clean as in you totally would think I hired a cleaning lady. But I didn't. It was me.

Anyways. This is your chance. It may never be this clean again. And no, I'm not pregnant. I just thought it needed a good scrubbing.

Spring?

I know that spring must be close the kids are able to go outside and play on the swingset. Right? They were so excited to be outside! I was too until I had to clean the dog poop off the bottom of their shoes.

Wonder

Growing Up

Today Madison told me that when she grows up she wants to be a squirrel. Really a squirrel? No explanation was given. How ambitious of her.

The Beach

I forgot to mention in my last 2 Florida posts that is was quite cold when we were there. Cold as in 40-50's during the day and 30's at night. We totally got jipped (i think its really gypped). We did however, manage a nice day in the low 70's the last day so we took advantage of the weather and headed to the beach. The kids had lots of fun even with the water a bit too cold to swim.

Silly Face

Cayden Turn(ed) 2!!

I know, I am way late on posting about Cayden's birthday but the whole Disney trip threw me into a bit of a blogging funk. And since Cayden turned 2 while down in Florida, the birthday pics got pushed to the side. Did that make sense? Just pretend it did.

So here are some picture of Cayden on his second birthday. It was a quiet day with a cupcake celebration before bed. He is no longer a baby!

Meet the Characters

We are back from Florida. Ok, we were back from Florida 2 weeks ago. But the fact that I had taken almost 400 pictures delayed me a little on posting. Or at least that is the excuse I'm going to use :).

Disney was a hit with the kids. They loved the rides, the characters, and the overpriced toys and food that every parent gets sucked into buying. Madison talked non stop about how she wanted to say "hi" to Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Pluto..... Here are some pictures of the kids with the characters. Cayden was a little hesitant at first but quickly warmed up. Goofy was by far Madisons favorite.

The Eyes Have It

While blog surfing in the past few weeks, I came across a great photography site at iheartfaces.blogspot.com. The pictures on this site are AMAZING and they are super fun to look at and learn from. SO, I got the courage to submit one of my pictures of Cayden this week in their weekly contest. This weeks theme is "The Eyes Have It".
